As a certified educator with an Core Subjects EC-6 with Science of Teaching Reading credential and ESL certifications across all proficiency levels, I bring a deep, specialized approach to every student I work with.
I earned Rookie Teacher of the Year at Aldine ISD and received awards from WGU in Education Technology for Teaching and Learning as well as Fundamentals of Diverse Learners. These recognitions reflect my commitment to going above and beyond for every student. I am certified in both Utah and Texas, hold a Science of Teaching Reading certification, and an ESL credential.

My classroom experience spans a wide range of learners and settings, including general education, Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and English as a Second Language, from elementary all the way through high school. I have worked with students with ADHD, dyslexia, and autism, and I know how to adapt my approach to fit each individual learner.

I specialize in the Science of Teaching Reading, using structured, evidence-based methods to help struggling readers build real and lasting skills. Whether your child is just learning to decode words or needs targeted reading intervention, I meet every learner exactly where they are with patience, strategy, and genuine care.

For high school students, I also offer focused SAT Reading and Writing preparation. The digital SAT rewards students who can read critically, analyze author intent, apply vocabulary in context, and write with precision. These are skills I have spent years teaching in the classroom. I help students understand not just what the right answer is, but why, so they can approach test day with real confidence and strategy.

Whether your learner needs foundational reading support, ESL instruction, or targeted SAT prep, I bring the same evidence-based approach and genuine investment to every session.
