I am a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Houston pursuing a minor in Energy and Sustainability, and I hold an Associate of Science in Physics. Throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and engineering. I have successfully completed most of the junior-level Chemical Engineering curriculum, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer, transport phenomena, and reaction engineering. These experiences have allowed me to build strong analytical and problem-solving skills that I enjoy sharing with students. I currently work as a tutor at the University of Houston Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) and previously tutored at South Plains College, where I helped students in subjects ranging from algebra and calculus to chemistry and physics.

My tutoring philosophy is centered on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing procedures. I believe that confidence comes from understanding the "why" behind a problem, so I focus on breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps and adapting explanations to each student's learning style. I have experience working with students of different ages and academic backgrounds, including high school students, college students, and adult learners. Whether a student is preparing for a major exam, improving course grades, or strengthening foundational skills, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.

As both an engineering student and an active tutor, I understand the challenges students face when learning technical subjects. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to help them become independent learners who can approach future challenges with confidence. I am patient, dependable, and committed to helping every student reach their goals through personalized instruction and consistent support.

Thermodynamics

I am a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Houston and have successfully completed Thermodynamics as part of my engineering curriculum. Through this coursework, I have developed a strong understanding of energy balances, the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics, entropy, thermodynamic cycles, and equations of state. I currently work as a tutor at the University of Houston Academic Center for Excellence (ACE), where I help students strengthen their problem-solving and analytical skills in technical subjects. My goal is to help students understand the physical principles behind thermodynamic concepts and apply them confidently to engineering problems.
