My 5+ years of tutoring experience are defined by teaching math of all levels to grades 3-12+. I also have experience teaching business courses including economics (macro and micro), financial accounting, and finance). My approach to tutoring can best be described as holistic and can be defined by these 4 pillars : critical thinking, goal setting, communication, and practical application.
I believe that in the modern landscape a degree or grades are not sufficient, thereby requiring a student to be able to think, describe, set goals, and practically apply concepts to achieve said goals for long-term success. My teaching experience has been in a small classroom setting, group setting, one on one (in person and online), as well as volunteer capacity.
