With over two years of experience as a general tutor, I have supported students across the full Pre-K through 12th-grade spectrum. My expertise covers a broad range of core subjects, including Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Social Studies, as well as fostering creativity through Art. Whether working one-on-one or managing small groups of up to six students, I prioritize clear communication to ensure every concept is mastered. My background as a Patient Care Technician and my certifications in EKG and Phlebotomy have uniquely prepared me for this role, instilling a high level of patience, precision, and the ability to break down technical information into easily digestible steps.
I truly believe that everyone is unique in their way that they process information. My teaching style utilizes this by being adaptable to that particular student. I love to implement creative ways to introduce new topics and would say I am patient and compassionate for those learning. I want to create an environment where learning is discovery and not an obstacle wanted to be avoided. By creating an environment where questions are seen as support and not as an issue, reaching that breakthrough moment where they understand the material makes all the difference!
