I am a passionate and highly experienced mathematics teacher with over 17 years of helping students succeed in math with clarity and confidence. In all my classes with students, I always focus on the weak areas and support them fix any gaps in their learning and conceptual understanding. I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics and have taught in international schools across India, Kenya and the United States. I specialize in working with middle and high school students especially in IB Mathematics (AA & AI at SL and HL), IGCSE Cambridge Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Differential Equations. As a trained IB educator for both MYP and DP programs, I have extensive experience preparing students for the MYP Onscreen Mathematics exam, IB assessments and final exams, helping the students achieve strong academic results.
My approach to teaching is centered on helping students truly understand and enjoy math. I normally take time to identify where a student is struggling, then break down the challenging concepts into clear and manageable steps and rebuild their confidence from the ground upwards. Many of my students come to me feeling frustrated or unsure of their math abilities, and through targeted support, they quickly gain the desired skills and confidence required to excel in math.
