Hello! My name is Craig, and I’m a graduating high school senior who will be attending Vanderbilt University this fall to study Mechanical Engineering. I have a strong academic foundation in math and science, including Algebra through Calculus BC, physics, chemistry, and SAT Math. I scored a 1530 on the SAT and am a National Merit Finalist, and I’ve earned top AP scores in Calculus, Chemistry, and Statistics. In addition, I’ve conducted research at the University of Florida and the University of Texas at Austin, which has strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

I truly enjoy working with students and helping them build both skills and confidence. Through my experience as a tutor with Schoolhouse.world and as a volunteer tutor and mentor at the Nehemiah Center, I’ve supported middle school and high school students with a wide range of learning styles and academic goals. My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized—I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to help them truly understand the material, gain confidence, and develop strong study habits that last.

I offer both online sessions and in-person tutoring in the Houston (Bellaire and River Oaks) area, with flexible scheduling during evenings and weekends. As a recent top-performing student, I connect well with learners and bring a fresh, relatable perspective, while still maintaining a high standard of academic rigor. I aim to provide strong value in every session and am happy to support ongoing learning, test preparation, or targeted review before exams.
