I bring a "practitioner-scholar" approach to tutoring, blending doctoral-level research with real-world investigative expertise. I am currently a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology (Forensic focus). My academic foundation includes a Master’s in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity. As a Licensed Texas Private Investigator and certified Paralegal with over seven years of experience, I provide students with technical rigor and a deep understanding of human behavior.

My instructional experience spans middle school through early adulthood, focusing on students aged 11 to 25. As the founder of Gemini Forensic Academy, I mentor students in both one-on-one and group settings. My commitment to local student success is grounded in my 2023 participation in the City of Houston’s Complete Communities University (CCU), my work as a CASA volunteer, and my role as a coaching intern with Overcome. These experiences allow me to support students through a lens of civic leadership and specialized behavioral strategy.

I teach through my proprietary GEM Method, which leverages forensic science to master core standards in biology, math, and psychology. By guiding students through "Truth Auditing"—the process of evaluating evidence and identifying logical inconsistencies—I help build critical thinking and executive functioning skills. This approach is highly effective for students with ADHD, as it reframes academic habits as investigative tasks. My goal is to provide the analytical tools and self-regulation strategies needed for long-term academic and professional success.

Approved Subjects

ADHD

ADHD

I am currently a doctoral intern in Clinical Psychology with advanced training in clinical psychopharmacology, providing me with a deep understanding of the neurological and physiological roots of ADHD. Through my work as a CASA volunteer and researcher, I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent students as they navigate complex academic and social environments. I specialize in developing personalized strategies for executive functioning, time management, and focus, helping students translate their unique cognitive profiles into academic strengths. My approach bridges the gap between clinical theory and practical daily habits to empower students with ADHD in both traditional and virtual learning settings.
African American Studies

African American Studies

My qualifications in African American Studies are anchored in my doctoral research regarding adultification bias and its intersection with the school-to-prison pipeline for Black girls. Through my educational YouTube channel, I synthesize complex historical narratives and psychological profiles to make Black history accessible and engaging for a modern audience. My dual background in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology allows me to provide a rigorous, data-driven perspective on the systemic and historical experiences of African Americans within the United States legal and social systems. I am dedicated to helping students understand the critical intersections of history, sociology, and modern psychology to foster a comprehensive view of the Black experience.
Criminal Justice

Criminal Justice

I hold a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity and Cybercrime, providing me with a understanding of both traditional and digital legal systems. My expertise is grounded in seven years of experience as a paralegal and my current professional role as a Licensed Private Investigator in Texas. As a doctoral student in Clinical Forensic Psychology and a CASA volunteer, I bring a unique behavioral perspective to the study of law, ethics, and the justice system. I specialize in translating these complex concepts into practical, engaging lessons that help students master the differences of the criminal justice field.
