Hello, my name is Zane. I am currently offering Math tutoring services for students in Elementary School. In two of my years in education, I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade Math and Science. While working as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher I worked with students in whole group, small group, and one on one settings.
While working with students, I would use a variety of different strategies. These strategies would involve students being exposed to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning. I would lean towards using these strategies to cater towards the different learning styles in students.
When students would complete assignments or work with me in a small group setting, I would document the progression of the students. This gives data on where students currently are in their learning journey and shows where a student may need additional aid.
