Hello everyone! My name is Lylian, and I am currently a student teacher in the Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD), where I am placed in a 3rd grade classroom. I am also pursuing my degree in Elementary Education at the University of Houston – Main Campus.
Over the past two years, I have completed approximately 80 hours of classroom observations in both 2nd grade and kindergarten classrooms, in addition to my current student teaching experience. These opportunities have allowed me to gain valuable experience observing instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, and student learning environments across different grade levels.
I have extensive experience working with children on a daily basis, including roles at summer camps, where I supported students in both structured learning activities and recreational programs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to build positive relationships with students and support their academic and personal development.
I am passionate about helping students learn, grow, and build confidence in their abilities. I believe that creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment is essential for student success, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to each child’s educational journey.
