My name is Liam! I graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics (Data Science Focus) and am currently at the Georgia Institute of Technology receiving a master's degree in Computer Science. I have over three years of tutoring experience for grades K-12, with a focus in mathematics, and I am a certified test-prep tutor for the ISEE, SAT, ACT, and their digital formats. My experience includes 1-on-1 and group tutoring for private companies and upper-end private schools in the Houston area, as well as experience working with college students.

I began tutoring as a sophomore in undergrad, and throughout the years, I have refined my approach to encapsulate what learning really means. Learning should be enjoyable, engaging, and comprehensive; a tutor should be able to provide all of this while going the extra mile when asked for additional help or clarification. My ultimate goal is not just to give a student the ability to answer a test question, but to help them understand it. I want my students to take the skills learned from tackling those problems and apply them to future concepts with greater understanding, gaining the confidence to approach problems independently and from different angles.

To ensure we don't spend time gathering material and can instead focus immediately on the work at hand, I ask to receive classwork or information about what the student needs help with 12 hours before our scheduled session. This allows me to organize notes and plan effectively for our time together. I am always easy to reach and try my best to provide a fast response.
