I am a Rice University student pursuing a B.A. in Business (Finance) and Mathematical Economic Analysis, with a strong academic foundation in mathematics, statistics, probability, and analytical reasoning. My coursework includes applied econometrics, probability and statistics, quantitative financial risk management, multivariable calculus, and advanced finance, all of which have strengthened my ability to approach problems logically and explain complex ideas in a clear, structured way. This background allows me to tutor a wide range of math subjects confidently, from middle school math and algebra through precalculus, calculus, statistics, and SAT/ACT math.

I have experience tutoring students one-on-one as a private mathematics tutor with the Russian School of Mathematics, where I worked primarily with middle and high school students following a rigorous, concept-driven curriculum. In this role, I focused on building deep understanding rather than memorization, helping students recognize patterns, develop problem-solving intuition, and gain confidence with challenging material. I have also worked as a band music tutor for local middle schools, which strengthened my ability to adapt explanations to different learning styles, manage pacing, and keep students engaged and motivated. Across these roles, I have taught students ranging from elementary through high school age in individualized tutoring settings.

My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and student-centered. I begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then guide students through clear explanations, step-by-step examples, and targeted practice until the concepts truly click. My goal is not only to help students improve grades or test performance, but also to build confidence and independent learning skills that last beyond our sessions.
