I earned my undergraduate degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, followed by my medical degree (MD) from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. I am currently an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at UTHealth, where I continue to build a strong foundation in clinical reasoning, evidence-based medicine, and applied sciences.
My tutoring experience began during my undergraduate years, where I tutored students in science and math courses. During medical school, I became more specialized in supporting student success, particularly for undergraduate coursework and MCAT preparation. I focused heavily on helping students create effective study plans, timelines, and strategies to master high-yield material and stay on track for exam success.
Most of my teaching has been conducted in one-on-one and small-group settings, primarily through volunteer roles with medical school clubs and organizations dedicated to helping undergraduate and pre-med students succeed academically. Despite the demands of residency training, teaching remains a strong personal passion of mine, and I am intentionally continuing tutoring to support and mentor students through their academic and professional journeys.
