I’m Taimur (like ‘amor’ with a T)! I am recently residency-matched fourth-year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine going into a competitive specialty.

I am experienced with every level of the application process, from personal statement crafting, defining work/life/volunteering experiences, and interview preparation. My strategies have allowed me and others to successfully match into medical school, other graduate programs (dental, OT, business), and jobs. Knowing how difficult and sometimes impossible this process feels, I want to coach others to make it manageable while preserving your authenticity and unique qualities.

For Applications, I can help with: Personal Statement creation/reviewing, application experience creation/reviewing, interview coaching/mock interviews

I graduated from UT Austin with a 3.99 GPA in Neuroscience and Marketing. I received Alpha Omega Alpha honors, the highest academic honors for medical students as well. I take my classes and grades seriously, especially in subjects that I enjoy such as Anatomy and Physiology. Further, I have taken USMLE exams, passing both on my first try and scoring competitively for residency for Step 2. I would be happy to teach others these complex topics into more understandable ideas, while giving students more resources to help them study better. I would love to work with high school, college or medical students who are struggling in these areas.

I am well versed in teaching Anatomy, Physiology, Step 1 and Step 2 study plan creation.

I would love to share that excitement and learning with others. Reach out and let’s chat! :)

Interview Prep

I have helped over 20 students with structured interview preparation for undergraduate, dental, medical, and other graduate programs. This includes idea brainstorming, reframing stories to align with program values, and running over 10 mock interviews with students to increase confidence and clarity. I recreate the interview environment, both online and in-person, and deliver specific, actionable feedback to improve interview strengths.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I am a current fourth year medical student at a top-20 medical school in the US. I have mentored over 10 students in personal statement review, including brainstorming, revisions, and storytelling refinement. Knowledgable and Encouraging Support

Taimur was prompt to the session and came prepared with material to help me with my exams. He was inquisitive about the structure of the exam and ensured the focus was on the material I needed help with. I didn't feel rushed and overall came out feeling more confident about my upcoming exam. I highly recommend Taimur to anyone who needs help with exam prep and navigating medicine related topics. I would continue working with Taimur in the future.

Helpful & Insightful Editor

Taimur was extremely helpful in editing my medical school personal statement. He gave thoughtful feedback that improved the clarity, structure, and overall impact of my writing while still helping me keep my authentic voice. He also helped me add more emotion to my story so it felt more personal and engaging. His attention to detail and insight into how admissions committees might view certain sections made a big difference. I’m really grateful for his help and will definitely be returning for his services. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for honest, constructive feedback on their writing.
