As a former professional ballet dancer and current MBA student at Rice University, I bring a unique blend of discipline, creativity, and structure to every lesson. Before transitioning into arts administration, I spent several years performing with Alberta Ballet, where I also served in leadership roles supporting career development and safety initiatives for fellow artists. While working full time as a professional dancer, I completed my undergraduate degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Those experiences shaped my teaching style — patient, structured, and focused on helping others build confidence through steady progress.

Now located in Houston, working full time as a Manager with Houston Ballet and pursuing my MBA at Rice University, I continue to refine my analytical and communication skills through both education and professional experience — skills I bring directly into my tutoring sessions. I’ve always been drawn to the process of teaching — finding the logic within complex ideas and translating it into something clear. I enjoy that moment when a student’s understanding “clicks,” and I aim to make complex material logical and manageable by focusing on clarity, structure, and repetition until it feels intuitive.

I believe everyone benefits from guidance, encouragement, discipline, and consistency—no matter the subject or learning approach. Helping a student understand why something works, not just how to do it, is central to long-term retention and success.
