As a former professional ballet dancer and current MBA student at Rice University, I bring a strong sense of discipline and structure to my tutoring. Before transitioning into arts administration, I spent several years performing with Alberta Ballet, where I also took on leadership roles focused on career development and artist safety. While dancing full time, I completed my undergraduate degree in Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Balancing those commitments shaped the way I teach, emphasizing patience, organization, and steady progress rather than quick fixes.

I’m now based in Houston, where I work full time as a Manager with Houston Ballet while pursuing my MBA at Rice. Both my professional work and graduate studies continue to sharpen the analytical and communication skills I bring into tutoring. I’ve always been drawn to teaching and breaking down complicated material until it actually makes sense. I enjoy the moment when something clicks for a student, and I aim to make complex ideas feel manageable by emphasizing clarity, structure, and repetition.

While I specialize in the LSAT, interview preparation, and quantitative business courses (Finance, Accounting, and Data Analysis), I am also qualified in several additional subjects and work with students of varying ages. I’ve recently moved my tutoring services to Wyzant, though I’ve been teaching and tutoring for the past two years and have expanded my availability over recent months.
