I'm Aladria! I graduated from Savannah State University in December 2015 with a bachelors degree in Sociology. I am currently studying for my Masters degree in Psychology. Upon graduation I realized how much I loved working with children and teenagers. I began working in the field of Behavior Analysis in 2016 as a Behavioral Therapist. I fell in love working with clients with autism and special needs. During this time I was able to work with all clients ages 1yr-18yrs old.

In 2021 I began my journey in Special Education as a Early Childhood Special Education teacher. Here i was able to continue what I learned in ABA and apply those practices along with all of the new strategies I learned to reach the needs of each of my students. I believe that all kids have different learning styles; and as a teacher it is up to me to meet the needs of each of my students. No matter what learning difficulties or delays a student has; there is always a way to reach that learn and help them achieve their goals.

I know that summertime can be challenging for students with special needs. Their routines are broken due to school being out; and not every child is recommended for summer school. It is also hard for some students to get into summer programs that will meet their needs. Allow me to continue working with your young learner over the summer break so that they will not miss a beat! It is important that they retain the information that was learned in the previous school year; and we will work on new goals that will set each student up for success in the upcoming school year.
