I have 3 years of teaching in a private school, 3 years of teaching in a bilingual classroom, 5 years of part time museum education assistant/instructor and 1 year of part time group leader. I graduated Cum Laude with a gpa of 3.8 and participated in the CUNY Service Corp. During my teaching career I wanted to learn as much as possible which led me to take many certificates to perfect my craft some of the certificates I have are mandated reporter training, DASA, school violence prevention & interventions, wilson fundations, brainpop, kahoot, blooket, quizlet, HMH into reading, Gomath and Rosetta Stone. I use the teacher’s college method to teach my students. I start by teaching a lesson, then we do a problem together and them they try a problem independently. If they need support I support them and if they do not understand I will reteach using another approach. There are three kinds of learners visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners I will adapt the lesson to each learner. I also use exit tickets at the end of each lesson to see if they understand the lesson or if I need to reteach the lesson.
