I’m a experienced mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in NASA, private industry, and academia. My work has spanned thermal systems, mechanical design, systems engineering, and spacecraft and systems development. I hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have led multidisciplinary teams supporting complex missions, including design, integration, and verification for NASA programs.

My professional experience also includes teaching, developing educational material, and mentoring both students and early-career engineers. I have taught Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Engineering Labs as an adjunct professor, where I designed hands-on experiences and structured content to reinforce learning outcomes. I enjoy making engineering topics approachable and relatable, connecting theory to real-world applications in aerospace, electronics, automotive, and engineering systems.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve supported projects at all phases of development—from early concept and trade studies to detailed design and testing. I’ve also served as a technical reviewer and subject matter expert for NASA and major design reviews. My teaching and mentoring approach is structured, clear, and responsive to individual learning needs, whether you’re working on coursework, preparing for the FE exam, or looking to build a stronger foundation in key topics.

I have worked with undergraduate and graduate students, adult learners, and professionals seeking to sharpen their skills. With decades of real-world and academic experience, I bring both depth and practicality to tutoring in mechanical engineering and related subjects.

Mechanical Engineering

With over 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering, I have worked in both NASA and private industry, focusing on thermal systems, mechanical design, and systems engineering. As an adjunct professor, I teach as an adjunct Professor at the University of Houston at Cleat Lake, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Engineering Labs, developing hands-on curriculum and materials to help students grasp complex concepts. My industry background includes leading multidisciplinary teams, supporting major space missions, and reviewing technical designs. I bring both academic and real-world expertise to tutoring, helping students solve problems and gain a deeper understanding of engineering principles.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I am a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 year of experience and a NASA discipline expert in thermal and fluid science and thermal design. I am also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Courses taught are: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical engineering labs and Heat Transfer.
