I believe students learn best by practicing what they learn, so my tutoring sessions tend to have a lot of dialogue, with opportunities for the student to restate concepts in their own words or connect ideas to experiences from their own lives. It's my job to provide resources and guidance so that the can achieve their goals.
I have worked with groups of anywhere from 4-32 students, often with differing backgrounds and levels of comfort with the English language.
