I have Greek language teaching experience at all educational levels elementary school to college. In addition to being a professor of education in US (philosophy, sociol., history of ed), I have experience as a tutor of Greek & teacher and school administrator of Greek bilingual schools in US and professor of modern Greek at a university abroad (SE Asia). I rely heavily on motivational techniques that make learning fun such as educational games, puzzles and simulation travel exercises with extensive conversational practice, as well as thorough coverage of syntax, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, etymology and Greek cultural history. I use Greek language resources available online for free. I wrote Greek language textbooks when teaching abroad and lengthy scholarly articles written in modern Greek which were published in peer reviewed journals in Greece. Recently moved to Houston permanently from another state in US. I prefer tutoring in your home, library, coffee house, community center or online.
