I'm Jerica! I'm an award-winning leadership coach, public speaker and creative writer. My journey began in elementary school, when I won an essay contest that was later featured on the front page of my 8th grade yearbook. I thrived in academics and athletics, while also holding multiple leadership seats in organizations such as student government. In high school, I got my first glimpse of tutoring and also volunteered as a basketball coach for my local summer camp. I had unlocked a passion for leading and inspiring others. I have garnered ongoing recognition and awards for my commitment to academic excellence and business leadership. In college, I traveled across the country performing on stage as a spoken word artist, leadership mentor and creative writing workshop host. at independent venues as well as high schools and colleges. Upon graduation in 2012, I had built a highly engaged network and a skillset that has taken to new heights in business and sales leadership.
I'm not just a decorated public speaker and writer, though. Basketball was actually my first love. I was a 4x state champion in high school basketball and played DIII at my alma mater before stepping into corporate America full-time. I served as a head coach for 6 years at the Police Athletic League and volunteered for multiple teams across the state. After graduating with my degree in Sociology, I spent two years serving as a teacher's aide for autistic children in K-8 grade, which was a pure joy!
Over the last decade, I have served in top Fortune 500 companies such as Verizon and Uber Technologies, Inc. as a top producing sales expert and growth coach. I'm excited to bring my diverse expertise and leadership coaching to students across multiple segments. Let's achieve your goals, together!
