Hi there!
I’m Leslie, and I’m excited to help students reach their goals and make learning something they enjoy. I’ve had the privilege of working with kids in many settings, from teaching 2nd grade in a bilingual classroom to supporting youth programs at the Houston Public Library. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to connect with students, understand their unique needs, and create a space where they feel confident and motivated to learn.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match their strengths. Whether it’s introducing a topic with a fun, creative twist or breaking things down step-by-step, my goal is to make lessons clear, engaging, and memorable. I focus on subjects like English Language Arts, reading, early literacy skills, and elementary math. Plus, being bilingual means I can support Spanish-speaking students just as effectively.
