Hi, I'm Calli! I'm a Houston-based educator with nine years of experience working with students from Pre-K all the way through 12th grade, and I genuinely love every minute of it! My passion isn't just teaching content; it's helping students discover that they are capable learners who can tackle anything.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in English from Angelo State University, along with a TEFL Masters Certificate and an AP World History Certificate from Rice University. I'm also currently completing my certification as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist because I believe every student deserves a path to reading success that works for them.

In my current role as a Dyslexia Specialist and AP History Teacher, I work with students one-on-one and in small groups, using research-backed approaches to meet each learner exactly where they are. I've taught in classrooms across Texas and even in Shanghai, China; and no matter the setting, my approach stays the same: patient, optimistic, and learner-first.

Whether your child needs support building foundational literacy skills, strengthening their reading, or diving deep into history, I bring efficient strategies, genuine enthusiasm, and a whole lot of encouragement to every session. My goal is simple: to help your student not just learn, but fall in love with learning and applying what they learn in the real world.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling to new places, and hanging out with my five dogs, Luke, Izzy, Sully, Sophie, Lily.
