I have been helping students read well for over 25 years. I am an experienced classroom teacher and individual tutor with training in phonics and dyslexia intervention. My background includes a personal love of literature, Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and over 300 continuing education hours. I have worked in the classroom teaching reading foundations in kindergarten and first grade, as well as tutored students of all ages, including adult ESL/ESOL, in reading accuracy and comprehension. I have also served as a consultant in my present and past school for reading development.
I offer a free consultation to help determine your needs. Other services I offer are homework help, elementary math instruction, and writing help/editing at all levels, including professional. Tutoring sessions are available from 4:30-7:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Thursday.
