Thank you for your consideration of my tutoring services. I am a certified Texas Teacher (K-6 Generalist), although I have really found my passion in tutoring students one-on-one. I am extremely methodical and goal-oriented. I believe that if a student knows what they want to accomplish, with the level of expertise I have I can give them the proper tools to plug in the right tactics towards reaching that goal. This means taking good notes, reflecting on our growth, and creating an environment where my students feel safe to make that growth.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of St. Thomas where I was given special honors as Preservice Educator of the Year. Pursuing a Liberal Arts Education exposed me to both a lot of really enriching course material I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, and also taught me how to embrace the Socratic Method of encouraging self-discovery in my own tutoring.

I am a Jack of All Trades- literally! Through my experience tutoring hundreds of students from a litany of backgrounds, I have worked with students from ages 4-21, from several different countries, in over 10 different subjects. I have worked as both a classroom teacher in Elementary Schools teaching fourth grade but have spent the last four years working largely as a test prep tutor for older students. I have seen some incredible growth on both the ACT and SAT Reading (I have gotten students from the mid teens to low thirties, and have accomplished several 35s-36s), and I have also worked with students taking AP Econ, Gov, Lang, Lit, US History, World History, and Human Geo, bringing kids from failing grades to AP 4s and 5s,
