I scored a 522 on the MCAT (132 C/P, 130 CARS, 130 B/B, 130 P/S), and I love sharing the strategies and content mastery that helped me achieve that result. As both a medical and engineering student, I bring a unique perspective to problem-solving, especially in chemistry and physics, but I’m equally comfortable guiding students through all sections of the MCAT.
While I specialize in MCAT preparation, I also offer tutoring in a wide range of pre-med and high school subjects, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, and physics. I’m currently an M2 at Texas A&M University’s School of Engineering Medicine, where I’m pursuing a dual M.D. and Master’s of Engineering degree on an academic scholarship. During my undergraduate studies, I maintained a 4.0 GPA and was honored with the Outstanding Senior Engineer Award.
With over four years of tutoring experience and more than 200 hours of one-on-one sessions, I’ve developed a personalized, results-oriented approach. Extremely knowledgeable MCAT tutor!

James was an amazing MCAT tutor! I've been working with him weekly since November for my MCAT retake in May and he has been a huge help in understanding difficult topics I came across in practice materials. He also had very good tips for test strategy, especially in CARS and bio/biochem that helped me tackle exam passages more efficiently. I went into my retake more confident with the skills he taught. I highly recommend James for MCAT tutoring!
