My son has never like to read. He heated reading. The day Mr. John started tutoring him my son told me, my teacher says I am a good reader and I am a hard worker. He said I did an awesome job!. I saw his face and how happy he was. From that moment, I knew I had made the best decision and for us this teacher is a blessing from God. He really knows how positive reinforcement works. His made made a big difference on my child life. From that moment every night, every day my son is looking for a book to read by himself. I do not have to put any pressure on that. Huge improvement in STAAR testing and my daughter loves his way of teaching
I have approached John for 6th-grade math as my daughter's in-school STAAR testing preparation results were not great and made me worry. After 1&1/2 - 2 months of preparation with John, she did very well in her actual STAAR test and she moved to the Master's level from Meets expectations. We are very happy with her progress.
