I am a current sophomore at Rice University studying chemistry. I have taken a plethora of math and science courses for my degree and to work toward completing pre-med requirements. I have experience teaching general chemistry to freshmen at Rice University as a TA. I met with them at least four times a week to facilitate their learning by asking them guiding questions that helped them connect concepts on their own. This also encouraged communication between students to promote a collaborative atmosphere; however, I was always more than willing to work with students one-on-one. I also came up with practice questions that helped students gauge what they knew and what they still needed to work on with me.
Additionally, I learned a variety of skills that one can put into practice as they take the SAT. These strategies enhance one's ability to finish the questions in a timely manner and avoid the tricks that the test-makers implement, and they are the reason I scored in 99th percentile. I am more than ready to share these skills with students who are looking to improve their score as they apply to colleges.
I've found a passion in teaching students about the subjects that I love and seeing them succeed academically. I am easy to reach and provide fast responses. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to ask any additional questions or schedule a lesson!
