I hold a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies and am certified to teach Mathematics for grades 4–8 in Arkansas.
I have over four years of experience working with students in grades 4–7 in a classroom setting. During this time, I provided direct instruction in mathematics and other core subjects, supported students with diverse learning needs, differentiated lessons to meet individual abilities, and helped students build foundational academic skills and confidence. I have experience working with both whole-group instruction and small-group intervention settings.
My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-centered. I focus on breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps and using guided practice, repetition, and real-world examples to help students fully understand the material. I also prioritize building student confidence and reducing frustration with challenging subjects.
I am qualified to tutor various levels of mathematics, including foundational skills, pre-algebra concepts, and general academic support. My goal is to help students improve their understanding, strengthen their skills, and become more confident independent learners.
