Working through COVID has helped me tremendously with online teaching and tutoring techniques and I have also worked with VIP Kid further deepening these skills. I have a bachelor of arts in Biology and have my certification through Texes Education Agency in grades 7-12 Science. Throughout my 10 years as a teacher I have tutored students both 1 on 1 and in small groups.

Sessions were held both after school hours in person as well as online during COVID. My STAAR classroom pass rate for 2023 and 2024 were 98 and 100%.

STAAR

I have taught and tutored students for 3 years in an 8th Grade Science STAAR tested course. I also have taught and tutored students through Biology EOC STAAR exam courses for 4 years as well as provided summer school tutoring for 3 different summer school year sessions with struggling students. Many of my students who I have taught in regular classes have achieved Masters ratings in their first attempts in the exam. I will work with students on not only content but also test taking strategies for the strongest outcomes possible.
