Personable, knowledgeable and patient.

I hired David to tutor my 6th grader in math. We were concerned that he had some gaps and knew that he would need help to keep up. My son was presented with multiple tutors and after a session with each, he was asked to decide. He chose David. Why? He didn't make him feel uncomfortable for not knowing, he made it easier to understand and he was patient. While being knowledgeable was/is important, for my student, working with someone who is patient is critical. David managed to break things down for my son in a way that he could understand, he is also able to redirect him when he starts to get a bit of task. In addition, my son doesn't feel like there is ticking timer when he is asked a question. To be completely honest I have never heard my son laugh and learn and as much as when he is working with him. My son works hard at school, so coming home and working with a tutor online has never been his favorite thing to do. I am happy to say that he doesn't carry the sour face as much as he use to when the word "tutoring" is mentioned. If your looking for a knowledgeable tutor, flexible, patient and caring tutor, Mr. David is definitely "YES" choice. I highly recommend him.

Extremely helpful & easy to work with

David has helped my 9th grade son with algebra. His grades have improved, and he has a better attitude towards learning. He has said several times that David teaches him in a way that he understands it and he isn't getting that from his teacher at school. My son has never wanted a tutor but now asks me every week to set up a lesson with David. All around great tutor easy to work with and always reply's quickly to emails.

We hired David to work with our son, on Consumer Math. Our son looked forward to his tutoring sessions with David because David is an enthusiastic tutor who clearly enjoys teaching his students. He was very patient with our son, who struggles with basic math concepts and has learning disabilities. David would bring a dry erase board with him, which made learning more fun. It makes such a difference when you find a tutor who really knows the subject that they are teaching and who puts so much energy into supporting the student. We will definitely be calling David again, for support in next year's math class.

Mr. D worked with me on my past due math assignments. We worked on analyzing graphs and interpret the comparison of two items. We also worked on how to translate a two-way variance table and raw data percentages. Mr. D was very patient and he explained everything in a way that I could understand. He was Awesome and I learned so much in just two hours! I know with his help I will make up my work and have the confidence to continue doing good in my class! Mr. D is AWESOME!
