I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, earning highest honors (summa cum laude). I am currently a software engineer at a FAANG company, where I work on complex technical systems and apply the same analytical and problem-solving skills that I teach to my students. I specialize in tutoring math, science, and computer science, and I am fully bilingual, offering instruction in both English and Spanish to support students from diverse backgrounds.
I have over three years of tutoring experience, including two years of formal tutoring during high school and one year during college. I have worked with students ranging from elementary school through high school, helping them build confidence and mastery in subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, chemistry, anatomy, computer science, and general math and science. My teaching approach focuses on breaking complex problems into smaller, understandable steps and making sure students truly grasp the underlying concepts rather than relying on memorization.
Throughout my tutoring experience, I have helped many struggling students significantly improve their academic performance. Several students I worked with moved from C or D averages to earning A grades, sometimes within just a few sessions. I focus on building strong fundamentals, encouraging critical thinking, and adapting my teaching style to each student’s learning pace so they develop both understanding and long-term confidence in STEM subjects.
