I hold a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and currently serve as an Adjunct Faculty of Cybersecurity at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. My academic foundation and industry certifications—including CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate—equip me to teach learners how to understand and apply cybersecurity and cloud computing principles in real-world environments.
Over the past several years, I have taught college students, career changers, and working professionals through classroom instruction, one-on-one mentoring, and online sessions. In my university role, I design and lead undergraduate labs covering topics such as cloud infrastructure, IAM, network security, and DevSecOps pipelines. Outside the classroom, I provide individualized coaching to students preparing for certifications like Security+ and AWS Architect, helping them connect theory to hands-on practice using virtual labs and case-based exercises.
My teaching approach emphasizes clarity, engagement, and practical learning. I use step-by-step demonstrations, interactive discussions, and scenario-based problem solving to simplify complex technical topics. I have worked with learners ranging from high-school graduates exploring technology careers to mid-career professionals strengthening their cybersecurity or cloud skills. My goal in every lesson is to build confidence, critical thinking, and readiness for both certification exams and workplace challenges.
