Hi, I'm Caleb. I am a 4.0 GPA math major at Texas State University. I have a strong foundation in mathematics, evidenced by my scoring in the 98th percentile on the math portion of the SAT.

I began tutoring on Wyzant a few years ago, and have tutored students one-on-one in pre-algebra and algebra. Additionally, I have assisted a student with trigonometry and other math-related issues for coding projects. This experience has given me insight into common challenges students face and how to effectively address them.

My teaching style is centered around simplicity and understanding. I aim to explain concepts in the clearest way possible, using practical examples to illustrate points. My goal is to help students grasp the underlying principles without the need for extensive memorization. By focusing on comprehension, I empower students to solve problems independently and build a strong mathematical foundation.

I have worked with middle and high school students, helping them navigate the complexities of math subjects. My one-on-one tutoring sessions have allowed me to tailor my approach to each student.

I am passionate about helping students excel in mathematics. With my strong math background and dedication to clear, effective teaching, I strive to make learning math a positive and rewarding experience. I believe every student has the potential to master math with the right guidance and support. Although I may be somewhat new to tutoring, I will work as hard as I can to help you excel in math in whatever way is most convenient for you.
