My name is Tyler and I'm a 25 year old college graduate. I'm a Chemistry major with a minor in biology from Texas Tech University. I have taken math classes up through Differential Equations in addition to the chemistry and biology courses. Currently working on a microbiology certification at UTMB as well. I haven't been professionally hired as a tutor, but have helped plenty of friends through the science classes with me, and have taught others the math that they needed to know.

I enjoy helping people understand the various sciences and math. I do my best to break down concepts and give examples so that I'm not just talking at you, but helping you work through the problem so that you best understand it. I've always been of the mindset that it is more important to know how to break down a problem and work through with problem solving than just pure memorization. I look forward to helping you through your classes.

Have taken all the necessary math to almost get a math minor, just missing linear algebra. Took Calculus I, II, & III as well as differential equations. Algebra is the backbone off not only these math classes, but required through other sciences and other topics.

I have a major in chemistry, so have the whole range of the chemistry's, though I do best utilizing lab work. I have taken biology as a minor, with bio I and II, A&P I, with microbiology and microbiology as other topics. Currently am taking microbiology certification course so went further in pathogenic micro and parasitology.

I have a fairly open schedule with only having classes a couple days a week and working on weekends as a pharmacy technician.
