I usually don't leave reviews but my son's lesson with Rochelle impressed me very much. As he is going to be a senior this year, the college admission process and required essays are very stressful for him and for me (this is my first child that will attend college). Rochelle was very prompt, professional, and very thorough in her answers and in her assistance during her lesson. We could tell immediately that she has a kind heart and is a true professional. She had my son's best interests at heart and didn't try to push us with unnecessary lessons that we got from other tutors who charged an enormous fee and was not caring at all. I am very thankful that we found Rochelle and she was available on a Sunday. We will definitely continue to use her and can't say enough good things about her.

Rochelle has worked with my in daughter in person and via Skype preparing her for the ACT exam. She has been tremendously helpful and is a serious and knowledgeable teacher . She is also a lovely and warm person and my daughter loves working with her. We highly recommend Rochelle as an English writing, reading or ACT prep teacher.

Very Knowledgeable and Patient
Mrs. Rochelle was a very nice and positive tutor. She helped me with the SAT English portion and essay. After several lessons, I now feel confident with taking the SAT this Saturday. She is very knowledgeable with the SAT Material and taught me what to look for and how to approach each section. Any answer I got incorrect, we would discuss why I chose that answer and why the correct answer makes more sense. After you do it enough, you start to getting them right! I was also missing the analysis portion in my essay and she patiently helped me correct it to gain more points. I highly recommend Mrs. Rochelle for any kind of tutoring! She's been great and will definitely raise your score!

Rochelle has helped me tremendously with my college applications, especially with the required essays. Since writing is my weakest subject, it was difficult for me to eloquently demonstrate what kind of person I am and what I value through my essays. By proofreading my essays and providing me with advice on how to improve them, Rochelle made this easier for me. With her help, I got accepted to a variety of colleges/universities, such as Cal Poly Pomona, UCR, UCI, and Scripps College. I honestly do not think I would have gained admission from all these colleges without her help and would highly recommend her as a counselor as she played an important role in helping me achieve my goals.

Right off the bat, Ms. Rochelle was extremely accommodating of my busy schedule. She provided my 2nd grader with the attention she was lacking in the classroom. Ms. Rochelle always goes the extra mile and is very caring. She is extremely patient and uses various learning strategies that my daughter can relate to. I am glad that we found her. My daughter looks forward to her weekly lessons. I have noticed her confidence in her reading and writing skills. I plan to continue lessons with Ms. Rochelle during the summer to get her really ready for 3rd grade. I highly recommend Ms. Rochelle! I am updating my review because my daughter has just received her progress card today. She is getting an outstanding grade in Language Arts! We are beyond happy. Ms. Rochelle has been instrumental in her success. Wow! We will continue to work with Ms. Rochelle until my daughter graduates from high school.
