I am Deepa, a dedicated and experienced chemistry tutor with a true passion for Chemistry. I have tutored for more than 10 years and have had great success shaping the lives of hundreds of students. I am a caring mentor who has experience interacting and teaching teens. I am passionate about teaching and have in depth knowledge of chemistry.

I prefer one-on-one tutoring and enjoy engaging my students with fun and challenging chemistry problems. I like to apply chemistry to the real world to allow my students to fully understand the necessity of knowing chemistry in their everyday lives. Chemistry is very important because it is everywhere in our life, starting from the complex chemical reactions going inside our body to the most sophisticated cars we use. It is in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat and most importantly, in inventing new medicines to cure diseases which were once considered incurable.

I believe that everyone learns differently and there is a way to teach everyone. Once you breakdown the information to its most basic concepts things become easy to comprehend. Anyone can accomplish anything with enough practice and determination. I believe that helping a student master the material is key towards gaining the needed confidence.

I have a Master's in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology. I have done my Bachelors from C.C.S University India with an emphasis on Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. I have been a Chemistry lecturer and taught undergraduate students. I also have worked as a Researcher in Scientific Technology Laboratory and published multiple papers. My research experience have taught me to think outside the box.
