Hi! I'm Abhijit. I got my bachelors in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and my PhD also in electrical engineering from the University of Georgia. I have been tutoring students (middle school, high school and college) since I was an undergraduate student myself. I am currently working towards my second doctorate in Management Science (Operations Management) at the University of Texas at Dallas. As part of my responsibilities as a PhD student, I also tutor undergraduate and masters students in subjects involving statistics, statistical modelling (Excel, R and Python) and supply chain management. I also teach these subjects at the undergraduate level in the university.
As a part of my training, I have a lot of experience with mathematical subjects (algebra, probability, econometrics, statistics, real analysis, calculus), and have experience teaching algebra, probability and statistics.
My goal in any tutoring session is to make sure the students understand the concepts and have a strong understanding of the fundamentals. I am open to working with suggestions from parents and students themselves to adapt what is best for their learning style. I always respond within the business day. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
