I'm an award-winning science educator at Frisco ISD with 7 years of experience helping students master biology, chemistry, and environmental science from middle school through high school. In 2024, I received the Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Chicago, recognizing my commitment to student success and innovative teaching methods. I also graduated as the top-ranked student at my university in both my undergraduate and graduate programs, demonstrating the deep subject mastery and analytical skills I now bring to every tutoring session.
Currently at Frisco ISD, I teach Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science. I'm certified for grades 4-12 and specialize in high school biology and chemistry at all levels, middle school science foundations, STAAR and EOC test preparation, homework help and exam review, and building strong study skills and scientific thinking. My approach focuses on helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorize facts. Through real-world examples, hands-on problem-solving, and personalized lessons, I build the critical thinking skills that lead to lasting success. My students consistently improve their grades, gain confidence, and develop genuine curiosity about science.
I work with middle schoolers building science foundations, high schoolers tackling chemistry, biology, and environmental science, students preparing for STAAR, EOCs, and school exams, and anyone struggling with current coursework or wanting to get ahead. I create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are learning opportunities.
