With over twenty years of experience teaching secondary art to diverse groups of students (and many more of making art), I am confident in my ability to bring unique perspectives that can help me understand and help middle and high school students further develop their creative skills. My interest in the arts started at a relatively early age in the elementary school. I went on to train as an Art Teacher at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, Nigeria. After a three-year stint as an Art Teacher, I earned an undergraduate degree in Studio Arts. The art studio skills sets developed, coupled with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree, have equipped me with effective teaching strategies that help me reach students of diverse learning styles in a nurturing and engaging ways.
