I have always had an interest and a strong passion for learning when it comes to topics such as anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics. I had remarkable kinesiology and anatomy professors during my undergraduate and current graduate work. These professors inspired me to express my passion for these topics by helping other students understand and comprehend the material. I graduated early and was in the top 10% of all Kinesiology majors at a private university. I never made less than an 'A' in a kinesiology/anatomy class. In addition to my academic work, I worked in a physical therapy clinic prior to going to PT school for 2 years. During this time I was using concepts of biomechanics, anatomy, and kinesiology on a daily basis with real patients.
As a young kid, I struggled severely in school, I know what it's like to not understand something and even feel stupid. It can even affect your self-esteem. I don't want anyone to feel that way. When it comes to my tutoring strategy, I like to use analogies and examples to help make a topic/concept clear. I will exhaust all of my ideas to help you! I do not believe in giving up on someone.
