Certified/Degreed science teacher, majored in Microbiology and minored in Chemistry, seeks motivated students looking to improve their comprehension and test-taking skills in all areas of Science!
I am recently retired and have the time and the enthusiasm to provide both in-person and online support to help students understand the coursework being presented in class to help students prepare for upcoming exams! In most subjects I'm able to provide additional worksheets and study materials, with the ability to give students graded feedback and support.
I'm prepared to work with your current science instructors to provide you with the best possible classroom support. My goal is to give the student the best benefit of my many years experience as a scientist and science teacher and focus my attention on a few enthusiastic pupils rather than giving superficial support to many. I'm primarily looking for students interested in a more long-term support tutor rather than a student needing a single test-prep session. I'm not only a certified, experienced science educator, I come from the scientific community, having worked in the industrial, medical, and research fields as a Microbiologist and Chemist, as an analyst, researcher, lab manager and product development specialist. As a science educator I'm qualified to teach all areas of science and have special experience in Microbiology, Geology, Biology, and Archaeology (American Pueblo Pottery and Egyptology).
