After graduating from Michigan State University in 1995 I wanted to explore the world, so I became an ELS Teacher working in Korea for three wonderful years. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1995 I wanted to explore the world, so I became an ELS Teacher working in Korea for three wonderful years. That was a great lifetime learning experience for myself. I learned that I have the abilities to teach and motivate others to want to engage in learning.
Then in 2000, I decided to earn a Masters, so I entered a two year Education Administration program at Central Michigan University. Within 12 months (while working full time) I graduated with a 3.84 GPA. I was told that you cannot do that, but I motivated myself to do that.
In 2002, I decided to become a teacher, and I have been a certified teacher for almost 20 years. I have worked with over a thousand students, and each student has their own unique learning style that you have to learn from them to help move them forward.
I have been an inclusion teacher, co-teacher, and self contained classroom teacher working with teaching students mathematics for over 12 years. I have many Texas Teacher Certificates.
For three years I was an ESL teacher in Korea, in which I taught ESL to children from grades Pre-k to high school, to college students, and to local professionals in the community. I created ESL programs at the college I taught at.
I also was an ESL Teacher at Dallas ISD for one year. I do have my ESL Texas Teacher Certificate.
If you want a tutor that will be extremely patient with your learning process but at the same time motivate you to want to do your best, then I'm your tutor/teacher.
