Dear potential students,

Math has always been my favorite subject, but I understand that not everyone shares my feeling on the subject. I received my bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M - Kingsville. I worked at as an engineering assistant with the Texas Department of Transportation and for the City of Dallas. I then began to teach at a private school. Finally, I went back to school to receive my graduate degree in Mathematics from Texas Woman's University in Denton. With my degree, I began working as a college instructor.

As a college instructor, I have successfully taught many students. However, not all students are on the same level or learn in the same manner. I have successfully worked with many students that have been out of school for many years. Customized and individually tailored tutoring is my true calling.

I specialize in all types of mathematics, from pre-algebra, to geometry, to statistics. I love it all! My teaching style is individualized to the learning style of each student. I use real-life examples, visual aids, and other tools to demonstrate the practical uses of math. I have lots of patience and work with students of all ages.

I look forward to helping you meet your mathematical potential.

Patient & Encouraging Tutor

Christina was very patient and understanding. When my daughter didn't understand the way she was explaining something, she was able to adapt, and changed her approach to ensure my daughter had a full understanding before continuing on. Christina is also very encouraging, and made my daughter feel extremely comfortable. Thanks for being a great tutor!!

Patient and responsible

I asked Christina to tutor my two seniors; one girl and one boy. They each have different strengths and weaknesses and she still was able to keep them motivated. Sometimes working with the together and other times separately. She will give 100 0/0 to the kids but the kids have to want to improve and practice on their own as well. I would highly recommend her.

Very patient and pleasant - my daughter looks forward to her sessions

Pleasant, prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. My daughter did not have a good experience with her middle school math teacher. Christina A. provided a new, fresh perspective to math, giving my daughter the much needed confidence she needed to learn math.
