I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Tarleton State University. I previously earned my Associate degree from Tarrant County College. My coursework and training have focused on child development, literacy instruction, classroom management, and effective teaching practices for elementary students.
I have experience working with young learners in both classroom and childcare settings. I have served as a substitute teacher with Fort Worth ISD and ESS, gaining experience teaching students with diverse learning needs and adapting instruction to different grade levels and classroom environments. I have also worked in early childhood education, supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development.
My instructional approach is rooted in engaging, student-centered learning. I incorporate hands-on activities, positive reinforcement, and evidence-based literacy practices, including Science of Reading principles and phonics instruction, to help students build confidence and succeed academically.
My experience primarily involves working with preschool and elementary-aged students, especially kindergarten and primary grades. I have taught in classroom settings, supported small groups, and provided individualized assistance to students who needed additional support. Through these experiences, I have developed skills in differentiating instruction, building relationships with students and families, and creating a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
