Hello all, I'm Radman - incoming Aerospace AI/ML Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Purdue University Honors College graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering, and current Master's student in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. I had the time of my life studying at a top-three university for aerospace engineering, and I am passionate about helping STEM students unlock their potential, build test-taking confidence, and achieve the career of their dreams.

My appreciation for tutoring was solidified in freshman year at Purdue when, as a member of their Emerging Leaders Scholars program, I was given a peer mentor to help me succeed in my engineering studies. Thanks to his guidance, I finished freshman year with a 4.0 GPA and secured an internship at L3Harris Technologies - a top-ten aerospace defense contractor - at the age of 18. This experience motivated me to give back in like manner; the subsequent year, Purdue hired me as a peer mentor to tutor incoming Emerging Leaders Scholars. I met weekly with each of my four mentees, helping them prepare for interviews, craft resumes, and apply to internships. In addition to my student job, I also volunteered as a peer mentor for Purdue's Honors Engineering program, where I tutored multiple sections of around 20 students in test-taking skills and career development strategies. Many of my mentees have since secured their own placements at top-ten aerospace firms as well.

My experience as a rising aerospace engineer has taught me one thing - with mentorship, nothing is impossible. I went from getting a C on my first algebra test to achieving a 35 ACT with a 36 STEM subscore, earning an A+ in AP Calculus AB and BC with scores of 5 on both AP tests, becoming a National Merit Scholar, publishing a machine learning research paper as an undergraduate, and landing a job at Lockheed Martin. As your tutor, my priority is you - I can't wait to help you achieve your academic and professional dreams!

Career Development

Career Development

Prior to my graduation from Purdue University, I achieved three consecutive STEM internship placements - at L3Harris Technologies, Sandia National Laboratories, and Leidos Dynetics - starting immediately after my freshman year, before being hired at Lockheed Martin prior to graduation. The rarity of my freshman-year internship achievement led to the university employing me as a mentor for incoming members of their Emerging Leaders Scholars program; I also volunteered my time to mentor sections of around 20 students in the Purdue Honors Engineering community. Many of my former mentees have gone on to secure top industry placements of their own. I greatly enjoy mentoring STEM students and am capable of advising with respect to resume building, job applications, cover letters, establishing extracurricular involvements, interview preparation, navigating career fairs, networking, and establishing constructive study habits for future career success.
Machine Learning/ AI

Machine Learning/ AI

As an undergraduate, I conducted and published a research project in applied reinforcement learning. I worked as an Aerospace AI/ML Intern for Leidos Dynetics, accepted a job offer as an Aerospace AI/ML Engineer at Lockheed Martin, and am currently obtaining a Master's of Science in Artificial Intelligence. I obtained industry experience with PyTorch, multilayer perceptrons, and hyperparameter tuning, and acquired experience with Bayesian optimization, regression, variational autoencoders, and denoising diffusion probabilistic models through academia.
MATLAB

MATLAB

I graduated Purdue University's Honors College with a BSAAE in 2025. I am highly experienced in MATLAB thanks to multiple industry internships and undergraduate research, having utilized MATLAB as a Research and Development Intern at Sandia National Laboratories to analyze data and high-speed camera footage from combustion experiments. During my undergraduate research project, I routinely leveraged MATLAB to analyze AI agent training and testing data. As an Aerospace AI/ML Intern at Leidos Dynetics, I used MATLAB and Simulink models to analyze and validate flight dynamics of standoff ordnance systems. I have received extensive formal training through Purdue's Honors Engineering program and can readily convey high-level MATLAB programming concepts in an accessible format to mentees and students.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I graduated Purdue University's Honors College with a BSAAE in 2025, completing three industry internships prior to graduation (L3Harris Technologies, Sandia National Laboratories, Leidos Dynetics) and accepted a job offer from Lockheed Martin. I am experienced in thermodynamics, heat transfer, signal analysis, fluid mechanics, statics and dynamics, structures, control systems, and combustion processes, and can tutor all specializations and draw on insights from both academia and industry to increase applicability of lessons.
Robotics

Robotics

I graduated Purdue University's Honors College with a BSAAE in 2025; during undergrad, I completed multiple robotics projects as part of the Honors Engineering curriculum, including design challenges for line-following and maze-solving robots. Additionally, I have independently designed and programmed a package delivery drone. I am experienced with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Teensy microcontrollers, and am highly capable in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) system design. I have prior experience tutoring others in robotics design as an Honors Engineering peer mentor.
Solidworks

Solidworks

I graduated Purdue University's Honors College with a BSAAE in 2025. As a Mechanical Engineer Intern at L3Harris Technologies, I used SolidWorks extensively to update CAD models for avionics modules and sensors for launch vehicles, orbiters, and military jets. I also designed new fixtures and tools for manufacturing support and maintained an up-to-date record of all components' engineering drawings. As a Research and Development Intern at Sandia National Laboratories, I used SolidWorks to design new hardware for combustion research laboratories. I am accustomed to using CAD in collaborative settings and am capable of drawing on industry experience to teach feature-based modeling and CAD best practices.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I graduated Purdue University's Honors College with a BSAAE in 2025 with a specialization in aerospace propulsion systems. My specialization heavily relies on thermodynamic analysis, in which I have gained experience through courses and projects in thermodynamics, heat transfer, air-breathing propulsion, and rocket propulsion. I am capable of teaching core concepts of energy transfer, the First Law of thermodynamics, entropy, the Second Law of thermodynamics, Otto and Brayton cycle analysis, conduction, convection, radiation, thermal resistance circuits, forced convection, Nusselt and Prandtl numbers, compressible flow, shockwaves, Fanno and Rayleigh flows, combustion, thermochemistry, flame temperature, and applications to real-world engineering problems.
