Hello all, I'm Radman - incoming Aerospace AI/ML Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Purdue University Honors College graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering, and current Master's student in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. I had the time of my life studying at a top-three university for aerospace engineering, and I am passionate about helping STEM students unlock their potential, build test-taking confidence, and achieve the career of their dreams.
My appreciation for tutoring was solidified in freshman year at Purdue when, as a member of their Emerging Leaders Scholars program, I was given a peer mentor to help me succeed in my engineering studies. Thanks to his guidance, I finished freshman year with a 4.0 GPA and secured an internship at L3Harris Technologies - a top-ten aerospace defense contractor - at the age of 18. This experience motivated me to give back in like manner; the subsequent year, Purdue hired me as a peer mentor to tutor incoming Emerging Leaders Scholars. I met weekly with each of my four mentees, helping them prepare for interviews, craft resumes, and apply to internships. In addition to my student job, I also volunteered as a peer mentor for Purdue's Honors Engineering program, where I tutored multiple sections of around 20 students in test-taking skills and career development strategies. Many of my mentees have since secured their own placements at top-ten aerospace firms as well.
My experience as a rising aerospace engineer has taught me one thing - with mentorship, nothing is impossible. I went from getting a C on my first algebra test to achieving a 35 ACT with a 36 STEM subscore, earning an A+ in AP Calculus AB and BC with scores of 5 on both AP tests, becoming a National Merit Scholar, publishing a machine learning research paper as an undergraduate, and landing a job at Lockheed Martin. As your tutor, my priority is you - I can't wait to help you achieve your academic and professional dreams!
