I hold a PhD in Leadership, Master's in Management of Engineering and Technology, and BSc with a Computer Science Major, as well as decades of experience in the Tech industry in 2 countries, ranging from engineer to senior manager, in leading startups and corporations (fmr. director at McDonald's, Sr. Manager at Apple, VP of Quality Assurance at Mimic Networks, founder, and more), and published on well-regarded platforms, overall offering a combination of extensive and diverse theoretical and practical-based knowledge.
I do not have direct teaching experience in teaching-focused roles, however, as part of my extensive work experience and academic path, I have taught, trained, presented, and coached people and teams from different backgrounds.
My approach to teaching or coaching is generally:
1. Understand the the expectations, current state of knowledge, and individual context of the person (skills, traits, the goal or purpose of learning, etc.).
2. Recommending a path to address the gap, with proposed milestones.
3. Aligning on an agreed approach.
4. Continuously monitoring progress and adapting as needed, in coordination with the student.
All of these while applying empathy and understanding to the student's personal context, challenges, and opportunities.
