I’m a medical student with a strong science background. I earned my Master’s in Biomedical Science from Tufts and have experience tutoring and teaching graduate-level students in Nutrition and Anatomy as a Teaching Assistant. I love breaking down complicated topics into clear, manageable pieces and helping students build study strategies that actually work for them. My tutoring style is supportive, low-stress, and tailored to how you learn — whether you’re tackling tough science classes, prepping for exams, or just trying to feel more confident with the material. I am by no means a perfect student, but I have had a lot of time to figure out different strategies that have helped me get to where I am today.
I began my higher education journey at the University of California earning a BS is Public Health Science. After college I wanted to learn more about the medical field and was a scribe at an emergency department in Salinas, California. I knew that I wanted to pursue medicine, but my performance in college was not strong enough to put my best foot forward as a medical school applicant. I went to build a stronger foundation for myself in graduate school at Tufts, where I got my Masters in Biomedical Science. My second year of grad school I worked as a clinical research assistant, and teaching assistant. Working as a teaching assistant I worked one-on-one with students to help them improve exam scores, and understanding of material. I currently am a second year medical school student. Having passed USMLE Step 1 after one year of medical education was an experience that pushed me in a unique way, but helped me learn new tools for learning and test taking.
