Hello! I am a summa cum laude graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and have 4+ years of tutoring experience- especially in college/ upper level math and science courses. In addition to private tutoring, I worked for two years as a professional tutor at my College where I regularly supported walk- in students in a menagerie of courses.

Working in a walk in environment, I have learned to quickly asses where a student is struggling and adapt to meet that student where they are. I’ve helped students who were feeling powerless gain confidence in their coursework and make progress towards their goals!

I strongly believe that relationships are the most important part of education. Students learn best when they feel respected, understood, and comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment. My goal is to meet students where they are at in order to empower them to truly conceptualize and understand difficult material.

In sessions, I focus on more than just getting the right answer. I emphasize:

- Understanding and meeting the student at their current academic level
- Re-orienting the material in a way that is more easily understood/ “digestible” for the student
- Developing strategies for self-empowered study and test-taking skills

I tutor upper/ college-level math and science, including chemistry and related courses, and tailor each session to the student’s goals—whether that’s exam preparation, homework support, or long-term mastery of the material.
