I'm a passionate and experienced educator with over 8 years of teaching experience in both welding and animal science. I specialize in creating engaging, hands-on learning environments that make complex concepts understandable and relevant to students of all skill levels.
As the lead Welding Instructor at Keller ISD’s Center for Advanced Learning, I built a successful high school welding program from the ground up—growing student enrollment by over 50% and achieving a 100% pass rate for AWS D1.1 Structural 1G Certification exams. I also led curriculum development, mentored new teachers, and facilitated professional development workshops focused on student engagement, classroom management, and supporting underrepresented students in technical fields.
Before that, I taught Animal Science and served as an FFA Advisor, where I guided students through experiential learning in areas like animal biology, nutrition, and horticulture. I bring the same level of dedication and creativity to tutoring, whether helping students master welding techniques, prepare for certifications, or understand the science behind agriculture and animal care.
I believe in making learning approachable, supportive, and student-centered—and I’m here to help learners gain confidence and succeed in their chosen paths.
Subjects I Tutor:
Welding (All Levels, AWS D1.1 Prep)
Agricultural Science / Animal Science
CTE (Career & Technical Education) Skills
Certification Preparation (Welding & Trade Exams)
Project-Based Learning Support
Classroom Management / Instructional Strategy (for new teachers)
