Hi! I’m Lisha, a first-generation college student majoring in Business Administration with a 4.0 GPA. I currently work as a substitute teacher in Texas public schools, where I’ve taught students from Pre-K through high school. From leading classrooms on my own to offering one-on-one support, I’ve learned how to adapt lessons to different learning styles, age groups, and confidence levels. Whether it’s math, reading, writing, or life skills, I love making learning feel approachable and even a little fun.
I started tutoring my younger cousins back in Nepal, and since then, I’ve helped dozens of students boost their grades and confidence both in-person and online. My teaching style blends patience, real talk, and lots of encouragement. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all learning. I take the time to understand where students are stuck and how to break things down in a way that clicks. Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead, I bring both structure and flexibility to every session.
Because I’ve been the student who felt overwhelmed before, I know how much it matters to have someone who truly listens and explains without judgment. I’m here to be that person, someone who makes your student feel seen, heard, and capable. With school out for the summer, I’m looking forward to helping more students build skills and confidence that last well beyond the classroom.
